Eighteen cores, DDR5-7200 and Xe graphics — the 250KF with display output added.
Quick Specs
- 18 cores (6 P-cores + 12 E-cores) / 18 threads
- 4.2GHz P-core base, up to 5.3GHz turbo
- 30MB Intel Smart Cache
- Intel Graphics, 4 Xe-cores; 13 TOPS NPU
- 125W base power, 159W max turbo
The complete mid-range Core Ultra
Everything the 250KF offers — eighteen cores, 30MB of cache, a 4.2GHz base and 5.3GHz turbo, DDR5-7200 support — with four Xe graphics cores enabled on top. That means the machine boots, displays and plays video with no graphics card, which is worth having both for troubleshooting a gaming build and for a workstation that doesn't need one at all. The unlocked multiplier leaves tuning headroom on Z890.
Only pay for the graphics if you'll use them
In a build where a discrete card goes in immediately and permanently, the 250KF is the identical processor for less. And keep expectations realistic on the Xe graphics: four cores is enough for desktop, video and light 3D, not for gaming. As always with Core Ultra, no Hyper-Threading — eighteen cores, eighteen threads. No cooler in the box; a good tower cooler handles the 159W ceiling comfortably.
