More storage than the DS3H
The B860 EAGLE WIFI6E sits between the DS3H and AORUS boards in GIGABYTE's B860 range. Its main advantage over the B860 DS3H WIFI6E is a third M.2 slot: one PCIe 5.0 x4 slot from the CPU plus two PCIe 4.0 x4 slots from the chipset, all taking drives up to 25110 length. That makes it a good fit for gamers with a large game library or creators who want separate boot, project and scratch drives. Wi-Fi 6E with the 6GHz band, Bluetooth 5.3 and 2.5GbE handle networking, and four DDR5 slots support up to 256GB. Six fan headers cover a well-ventilated case.
Trade-offs to consider
The extra M.2 slot comes at the cost of expansion: there are two x1 slots instead of the DS3H's four, so check if you rely on several add-in cards. Rear USB is limited to one 20Gbps Type-C, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A and four USB 2.0 ports. B860 does not support CPU overclocking, so an unlocked K-series chip is better on Z890, though memory overclocking up to 9066 MT/s is available. Integrated graphics output is one HDMI 2.1 and one DisplayPort 2.1.

Is it in stock, and when will it ship?

What does delivery cost, and how long does it take?
We deliver by courier anywhere in South Africa, and delivery is R180 on orders under R2 500 and free on orders of R2 500 or more. It takes 1-3 working days to Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban and areas within 100km of them, and 2-4 working days to areas more than 100km from a major centre, counted from the day the order is dispatched. Need it sooner? Express delivery is 1-2 working days for R210, or R150 on orders of R2 500 or more - choose it at checkout. We do not ship outside South Africa.
Can I collect instead of having it delivered?
Yes. Collection is from 11 Voortrekker Avenue, Edenvale, Gauteng, by arrangement - message us first so we can have the order picked and waiting. We are open 09:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday.
What warranty does it carry, and how do I claim?
The warranty period for this product is listed at the end of the Specifications section above. Claims go through us, not the manufacturer - contact us with your order number and a description of the fault and we will handle it from there. Separately from any warranty, the Consumer Protection Act gives you six months from delivery to return goods that are defective, unsafe or not fit for their intended purpose.
What if I change my mind?
You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind - longer than the seven days the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act requires. The item needs to be unused and in its original packaging, and we pay the return shipping. Refunds go back to the payment method you used, within 30 days of the return reaching us.
