A fully specified DDR5 Intel board without the enthusiast price tag
Quick Specs
- Intel B760 chipset on LGA1700 for 12th, 13th and 14th generation Core processors
- Four DDR5 DIMM slots, dual channel, up to 128GB with XMP support
- PCIe 4.0 x16 graphics slot plus two M.2 sockets for NVMe storage
- Onboard Wi-Fi with Bluetooth and 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet
- Micro-ATX board with rear USB-C, VRM heatsinks and M.2 heatsink coverage
Built for a serious mid-range Intel machine
If you are building around a Core i5-14600K or an i7-13700, this board gives you everything that actually affects daily use: fast DDR5, two NVMe sockets, 2.5G LAN, wireless in the box and a proper USB-C port. The four DIMM slots and generous storage options mean it works as well for video editing and development as it does for gaming. In a South African household where the router is in another room, having Wi-Fi and Bluetooth built in saves buying an adapter and frees a PCIe slot, which is worth real money on a Micro-ATX board.
Where it stops
B760 locks out CPU overclocking, so a K-series chip runs at its stock boost profile and nothing more. Memory overclocking through XMP is supported, but if you want to push core clocks you need a Z790 board. The primary graphics slot is PCIe 4.0, not 5.0, and there is no Thunderbolt. Micro-ATX means fewer expansion slots and less rear I/O than an ATX equivalent, and LGA1700 has reached the end of its CPU roadmap, so treat this as a platform you buy complete rather than one you upgrade into later.
FEATURES:
- DDR5 support with XMP profiles and ASUS memory training for reliable high-speed kits
- Two M.2 sockets with heatsink coverage and Q-Latch tool-free mounting
- Onboard Wi-Fi and Bluetooth plus 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet
- PCIe Slot Q-Release for removing a graphics card without fighting the retention clip
- Comprehensive Fan Xpert cooling control and AI Networking software features
