A clean, simple ATX case
The CMT260 is a straightforward black steel mid tower for first-time builders and anyone who wants a tidy ATX build without paying for extras they will not use. The side panel is semi-transparent dark tempered glass that slides into place on a guide path, so there are no thumbscrews to fiddle with. A detachable mesh cover helps keep dust out, and there are seven expansion slots plus mounts for two 3.5" drives and two 2.5" SSDs. It is a no-frills case: there is no lighting mentioned and only one fan is fitted out of the box.
Cooling limits to know before you buy
Only a single 120mm rear fan is pre-installed, so budget for front intake fans; the front takes three 120mm fans and the top takes two 120mm fans or one 240mm radiator. That makes 240mm the largest radiator it supports, so anyone planning a 280mm or 360mm AIO should look at a larger case. Graphics cards up to 325mm fit, which covers many mid-range cards, but check your card's length if it is a large triple-fan model. FSP lists the power supply type as 150mm ATX, so check the length of your PSU before you order. CPU coolers up to 170mm tall fit.

Questions
Before you buy
Will my graphics card fit in this case?
It takes cards up to 325mm long. Every graphics card we list shows its length on the Specifications tab, so compare the two numbers and leave a few millimetres for the power connectors. Front-mounted radiators and fans usually eat into that clearance - the case manual will say by how much.
What CPU cooler will fit?
Air coolers up to 170mm tall, and liquid cooler radiators of 240mmmm. Cooler height is measured from the motherboard surface to the top of the heatsink, and it is the dimension that most often catches people out with a side panel that will not close.
Which motherboards does it take?
It accepts ATX, Micro-ATX, Mini-ITX boards. A case always takes its own size and anything smaller, so there is no harm in fitting a compact board in a larger case beyond a little wasted space.
Is it in stock, and when will it ship?
This one is out of stock at the moment. Stock does come back in - WhatsApp us on 079 491 0181 with the model and we will tell you what the supplier is showing and let you know when it lands, rather than leaving you to keep checking the page.
What does delivery cost, and how long does it take?
We deliver by courier anywhere in South Africa, and delivery is R180 on orders under R2 500 and free on orders of R2 500 or more. It takes 1-3 working days to Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban and areas within 100km of them, and 2-4 working days to areas more than 100km from a major centre, counted from the day the order is dispatched. Need it sooner? Express delivery is 1-2 working days for R210, or R150 on orders of R2 500 or more - choose it at checkout. We do not ship outside South Africa.
Can I collect instead of having it delivered?
Yes. Collection is from 11 Voortrekker Avenue, Edenvale, Gauteng, by arrangement - message us first so we can have the order picked and waiting. We are open 09:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday.
What warranty does it carry, and how do I claim?
The warranty period for this product is listed at the end of the Specifications section above. Claims go through us, not the manufacturer - contact us with your order number and a description of the fault and we will handle it from there. Separately from any warranty, the Consumer Protection Act gives you six months from delivery to return goods that are defective, unsafe or not fit for their intended purpose.
What if I change my mind?
You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind - longer than the seven days the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act requires. The item needs to be unused and in its original packaging, and we pay the return shipping. Refunds go back to the payment method you used, within 30 days of the return reaching us.
How can I pay?
Payments are processed by Stitch. At the last step of checkout you are taken to Stitch’s secure page to pay, and brought back here once it is done. Your card details are entered on Stitch’s secure, PCI-compliant page and never touch our systems.
