Ten cores, an NPU and Xe graphics on board — a complete modern Intel machine in one part.
Quick Specs
- 10 cores (6 P-cores + 4 E-cores) / 10 threads
- 3.3GHz P-core base, up to 4.9GHz turbo
- 20MB Intel Smart Cache
- Intel Graphics, 2 Xe-cores up to 1.8GHz
- 65W base power, 121W max turbo; 13 TOPS NPU
Modern platform, no card required
The 225 is the 225F with Xe graphics enabled — two Xe-cores running to 1.8GHz, which handle 4K playback, multiple displays and light 3D comfortably. Combined with DDR5-6400 support, an AI Boost NPU and PCIe 5.0, that makes it a well-equipped basis for an office, media or general-purpose machine that never needs a graphics card, on Intel's current socket rather than the outgoing one.
Choosing it over the F
Only worth the premium if the integrated graphics will actually get used. In a gaming build with a card fitted from day one, the 225F is the same processor for less. Note also the ten-thread count — Core Ultra drops Hyper-Threading, so it trades thread count for real cores. Xe graphics are a step up on Intel's old UHD parts but still not a gaming GPU; AMD's Radeon APUs remain the choice if you want to game without a card.
