Made for white setups and long sessions
This is the white version of Corsair's HS80 RGB WIRELESS, a comfort-first headset with a floating headband and memory foam ear pads. The 50mm neodymium drivers cover 20Hz to 40kHz, and on PC you get Dolby Atmos spatial audio for positional cues in supported games. Wirelessly it runs at 24-bit/48kHz over SLIPSTREAM WIRELESS; plug in the USB cable and it becomes a 24-bit/96kHz wired headset. The omni-directional broadcast-grade microphone flips up to mute and has an LED mute indicator. It pairs neatly with white Corsair keyboards and mice on the same USB receiver.
Who should look elsewhere
The mic isn't detachable, so it's a desk headset rather than one for travel. Dolby Atmos works on PC only; PS4 and PS5 connect through the USB receiver without Atmos. There's no Bluetooth, so phones and Xbox aren't supported. Battery life is up to 20 hours, so expect to charge it every few days of heavy use. White ear cups and headband look clean but show marks more than the Carbon version over time. If that matters, or you game mainly on Xbox, choose another model. iCUE handles EQ, sidetone and RGB on PC.
