A mid-range headset with a better mic than most
The G522 sits above the G321 and G325 in Logitech's range, and the microphone is where you notice it. It's a detachable 48 kHz full-bandwidth boom with Blue VO!CE processing in G HUB, so teammates and stream viewers hear a fuller voice than the usual thin headset mic. Three connections cover most setups: the LIGHTSPEED USB receiver for PC or PS5, Bluetooth 5.3 for a phone or Switch, and USB wired audio over the included cable. The 40mm PRO-G drivers sit in isolated acoustic modules for clearer positioning and better bass, and side-facing LIGHTSYNC RGB is customisable.
Battery, weight and who should skip it
With the default lighting on, battery life is up to 35 hours; switch the RGB off and it stretches to around 80 hours. A full charge takes almost five hours with the headset off, and the battery isn't user-replaceable. At 290 g with the mic fitted, it's heavier than the 212 g G325, though still comfortable for long sessions. If you don't need RGB or a boom mic, the G325 is lighter and cheaper. Xbox users should note it isn't listed for Xbox. This is the black version; a white version is also available.
