Why a proper handbrake
In rally and drift games the handbrake is an analogue control, not a button. A 16-bit sensor gives the lever far more steps of resolution than a cheap 10-bit or on/off unit, so you can pull just enough to rotate the car into a hairpin without locking the rears and spinning. The body and lever are aluminium, so the feel stays consistent, and the included spring and damping gel let you set how hard it pulls and how it feels.
Setup and compatibility
The HB S connects by USB and is plug and play on Windows PCs, so it works alongside any wheel brand in DiRT Rally, WRC, Assetto Corsa and BeamNG. It is a PC device and is not listed for consoles. It mounts with M5 screws, so plan on bolting it to a stand or cockpit rather than a desk edge – the PXN stands and the PCBuilder DAYTONA cockpit are good bases.
