Why an H-pattern
Paddles are quick, but an H-pattern is what makes classic cars, rally and trucks feel right. The SF U gives you seven gears plus reverse, and reverse is guarded the way it is in a real car: back to neutral, press the lever down, then select. That stops you slotting reverse by accident mid-race. It connects straight into compatible PXN wheels over RJ11 or to a PC by USB, so it shows up as part of your wheel in games.
Fit and compatibility
It pairs with PXN's V10, V99, V12 Lite and VD series wheels; the V9 Gen 2 already includes its own 6+R shifter. Mount it on a stand or cockpit shifter plate – the PXN A9, A10, A11 and the PCBuilder DAYTONA all have one – because a shifter clamped loosely to a desk moves when you throw gears. Pair it with the PD HM clutch pedal for a complete manual setup.
