Why a stand instead of a desk
Clamping a wheel to a desk puts it at the wrong height and angle, and the pedals slide away from you under braking. A stand fixes both: the wheel sits in front of you at the right height, the pedals are tied to the same frame, and you can sit in any chair or on the couch. The A9 adjusts up to 36cm in height without tools and takes a shifter on whichever side you prefer, then folds flat to slide under a bed or into a cupboard.
Compatibility and limits
PXN lists Logitech G920, G29, G923, G27 and G25 and Thrustmaster T300GT, T300RS, T500RS, T248, TGT and TSPC, so it suits entry and mid-range wheels. For strong direct drive bases like the VD6 or V12 Lite, a full cockpit such as the PCBuilder DAYTONA is steadier. The wheel, pedals and shifter are not included.
