The 9800X3D — the fastest gaming processor money buys — on a Gen5 drive that reads at 11,000MB/s.
Quick Specs
- AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 8 cores / 16 threads, 4.7GHz base, up to 5.2GHz
- GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16GB GDDR7
- 32GB DDR5 6000MHz (2 x 16GB)
- 1TB Gen5 NVMe SSD — 11,000MB/s read
- 360mm AIO liquid cooler · Windows 11 Home + 1 month PC Game Pass
Why this processor
The 9800X3D is the Zen 5 refresh of the 3D V-Cache design, and it is the chip that sits at the top of essentially every gaming benchmark chart. Where the 7800X3D in the MAXIMUS traded clock speed for cache, the 9800X3D gives you both — 4.7GHz base rising to 5.2GHz with the cache stack intact. If you want the highest frame rates available from a prebuilt, this is the processor that delivers them.
What else is notable
The storage is the other standout: a Gen5 NVMe drive at 11,000MB/s read and 9,500MB/s write, roughly 50% faster than the Gen4 drives in every other machine here. The board is a 4-slot MSI B650 in MSI's MAG PANO M100R PZ chassis, which uses a panoramic tempered glass wrap rather than a single flat side panel. The power supply is 750W 80+ Bronze and non-modular — the one place this build economises.

- 1TB Gen5 NVMe SSD — 11,000MB/s read, 9,500MB/s write

- 360mm AIO liquid cooler, 3x 120mm fans
- MSI MAG PANO M100R PZ ARGB chassis with panoramic tempered glass

Questions
Before you buy
What is in this PC?
It is built around a Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor, RTX 5070 Ti 16GB graphics and 32GB DDR5 of memory. The complete parts list, including the storage, power supply and case, is in the Specifications section above.
Does it arrive ready to use?
It arrives assembled and tested - you connect a monitor, keyboard and mouse and switch it on. Whether an operating system is included is shown in the Specifications and What’s in the box lists above; if it is not listed, budget for a Windows licence, which we also sell. We do not ship a monitor, keyboard or mouse with a desktop unless the listing says so.
Can I upgrade it later?
Yes - it is built from standard desktop parts, so the graphics card, memory and storage can all be changed later within the limits of the case, motherboard and power supply. If you tell us what you are planning we will check the clearance and wattage before you order.
Is it in stock, and when will it ship?
This one is out of stock at the moment. Stock does come back in - WhatsApp us on 079 491 0181 with the model and we will tell you what the supplier is showing and let you know when it lands, rather than leaving you to keep checking the page.
What does delivery cost, and how long does it take?
We deliver by courier anywhere in South Africa, and delivery is R180 on orders under R2 500 and free on orders of R2 500 or more. It takes 1-3 working days to Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban and areas within 100km of them, and 2-4 working days to areas more than 100km from a major centre, counted from the day the order is dispatched. Need it sooner? Express delivery is 1-2 working days for R210, or R150 on orders of R2 500 or more - choose it at checkout. We do not ship outside South Africa.
Can I collect instead of having it delivered?
Yes. Collection is from 11 Voortrekker Avenue, Edenvale, Gauteng, by arrangement - message us first so we can have the order picked and waiting. We are open 09:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday.
What warranty does it carry, and how do I claim?
The warranty period for this product is listed at the end of the Specifications section above. Claims go through us, not the manufacturer - contact us with your order number and a description of the fault and we will handle it from there. Separately from any warranty, the Consumer Protection Act gives you six months from delivery to return goods that are defective, unsafe or not fit for their intended purpose.
What if I change my mind?
You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind - longer than the seven days the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act requires. The item needs to be unused and in its original packaging, and we pay the return shipping. Refunds go back to the payment method you used, within 30 days of the return reaching us.
How can I pay?
Payments are processed by Stitch. At the last step of checkout you are taken to Stitch’s secure page to pay, and brought back here once it is done. Your card details are entered on Stitch’s secure, PCI-compliant page and never touch our systems.
