The 7800X3D is still the processor to beat for pure gaming — here it comes paired with a 16GB RX 9070 XT.
Quick Specs
- AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 8 cores / 16 threads, 4.2GHz base, up to 5.0GHz
- Radeon RX 9070 XT 16GB GDDR6
- 32GB DDR5 6000MHz (2 x 16GB)
- 1TB Gen4 NVMe SSD · 750W 80+ Gold ATX 3.1 modular
- Asus A31 PLUS chassis · 360mm ARGB AIO liquid cooler
Why the X3D matters
The 7800X3D carries AMD's 3D V-Cache — a stack of extra L3 cache sitting on top of the cores. In games, which live or die on cache hits, that single design choice puts it ahead of chips with far higher clock speeds. It is the reason a 4.2GHz eight-core beats newer processors in frame rate charts, and it is why this build is the one to look at if gaming is the whole point of the machine rather than one of several jobs.
Worth knowing
The RX 9070 XT's 16GB of memory means nothing here will run short of VRAM at 1440p or 4K. The power supply is ATX 3.1 rated — the standard designed for modern GPU power spikes — and the Asus A31 PLUS case brings a front USB 3.2 Gen2x2 Type-C port. Against the VALOUR above it, you are choosing a faster gaming processor and a Radeon card over a faster all-round processor and an RTX 5070 Ti; for gaming alone, the MAXIMUS is the better buy and R6 000 cheaper.

Questions
Before you buy
What is in this PC?
It is built around a Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor, RX 9070 XT 16GB graphics and 32GB DDR5 of memory. The complete parts list, including the storage, power supply and case, is in the Specifications section above.
Does it arrive ready to use?
It arrives assembled and tested - you connect a monitor, keyboard and mouse and switch it on. Whether an operating system is included is shown in the Specifications and What’s in the box lists above; if it is not listed, budget for a Windows licence, which we also sell. We do not ship a monitor, keyboard or mouse with a desktop unless the listing says so.
Can I upgrade it later?
Yes - it is built from standard desktop parts, so the graphics card, memory and storage can all be changed later within the limits of the case, motherboard and power supply. If you tell us what you are planning we will check the clearance and wattage before you order.
Is it in stock, and when will it ship?
This one is out of stock at the moment. Stock does come back in - WhatsApp us on 079 491 0181 with the model and we will tell you what the supplier is showing and let you know when it lands, rather than leaving you to keep checking the page.
What does delivery cost, and how long does it take?
We deliver by courier anywhere in South Africa, and delivery is R180 on orders under R2 500 and free on orders of R2 500 or more. It takes 1-3 working days to Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban and areas within 100km of them, and 2-4 working days to areas more than 100km from a major centre, counted from the day the order is dispatched. Need it sooner? Express delivery is 1-2 working days for R210, or R150 on orders of R2 500 or more - choose it at checkout. We do not ship outside South Africa.
Can I collect instead of having it delivered?
Yes. Collection is from 11 Voortrekker Avenue, Edenvale, Gauteng, by arrangement - message us first so we can have the order picked and waiting. We are open 09:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday.
What warranty does it carry, and how do I claim?
The warranty period for this product is listed at the end of the Specifications section above. Claims go through us, not the manufacturer - contact us with your order number and a description of the fault and we will handle it from there. Separately from any warranty, the Consumer Protection Act gives you six months from delivery to return goods that are defective, unsafe or not fit for their intended purpose.
What if I change my mind?
You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind - longer than the seven days the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act requires. The item needs to be unused and in its original packaging, and we pay the return shipping. Refunds go back to the payment method you used, within 30 days of the return reaching us.
How can I pay?
Payments are processed by Stitch. At the last step of checkout you are taken to Stitch’s secure page to pay, and brought back here once it is done. Your card details are entered on Stitch’s secure, PCI-compliant page and never touch our systems.
