An eight-core 9700X boosting to 5.5GHz with a 16GB RTX 5070 Ti — built to work as hard as it plays.
Quick Specs
- AMD Ryzen 7 9700X, 8 cores / 16 threads, 3.8GHz base, up to 5.5GHz
- GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16GB GDDR7
- 32GB DDR5 6000MHz (2 x 16GB)
- 1TB Gen4 NVMe SSD · 750W 80+ Gold modular
- Wi-Fi 6E (2.4 / 5 / 6GHz) · 360mm ARGB AIO liquid cooler
Who this is for
The 9700X is a Zen 5 eight-core and the highest-clocked processor in this collection at 5.5GHz. Paired with an RTX 5070 Ti carrying 16GB of GDDR7, this is a machine that games at 4K and also gets through video renders, code compiles and heavy streaming without complaint. It is the all-rounder of the high-end builds.
How it compares to the MAXIMUS
For gaming alone the 7800X3D in the MAXIMUS is the faster chip despite its lower clocks, because 3D V-Cache beats raw frequency in games — and it costs R6 000 less. Buy the VALOUR when the machine has a job to do besides gaming, or when you specifically want NVIDIA's DLSS 4 and ray-tracing performance. It also has the best networking here: Wi-Fi 6E on the 6GHz band.

Questions
Before you buy
What is in this PC?
It is built around a Ryzen 7 9700X processor, RTX 5070 Ti 16GB graphics and 32GB DDR5 of memory. The complete parts list, including the storage, power supply and case, is in the Specifications section above.
Does it arrive ready to use?
It arrives assembled and tested - you connect a monitor, keyboard and mouse and switch it on. Whether an operating system is included is shown in the Specifications and What’s in the box lists above; if it is not listed, budget for a Windows licence, which we also sell. We do not ship a monitor, keyboard or mouse with a desktop unless the listing says so.
Can I upgrade it later?
Yes - it is built from standard desktop parts, so the graphics card, memory and storage can all be changed later within the limits of the case, motherboard and power supply. If you tell us what you are planning we will check the clearance and wattage before you order.
Is it in stock, and when will it ship?
This one is out of stock at the moment. Stock does come back in - WhatsApp us on 079 491 0181 with the model and we will tell you what the supplier is showing and let you know when it lands, rather than leaving you to keep checking the page.
What does delivery cost, and how long does it take?
We deliver by courier anywhere in South Africa, and delivery is R180 on orders under R2 500 and free on orders of R2 500 or more. It takes 1-3 working days to Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban and areas within 100km of them, and 2-4 working days to areas more than 100km from a major centre, counted from the day the order is dispatched. Need it sooner? Express delivery is 1-2 working days for R210, or R150 on orders of R2 500 or more - choose it at checkout. We do not ship outside South Africa.
Can I collect instead of having it delivered?
Yes. Collection is from 11 Voortrekker Avenue, Edenvale, Gauteng, by arrangement - message us first so we can have the order picked and waiting. We are open 09:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday.
What warranty does it carry, and how do I claim?
The warranty period for this product is listed at the end of the Specifications section above. Claims go through us, not the manufacturer - contact us with your order number and a description of the fault and we will handle it from there. Separately from any warranty, the Consumer Protection Act gives you six months from delivery to return goods that are defective, unsafe or not fit for their intended purpose.
What if I change my mind?
You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind - longer than the seven days the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act requires. The item needs to be unused and in its original packaging, and we pay the return shipping. Refunds go back to the payment method you used, within 30 days of the return reaching us.
How can I pay?
Payments are processed by Stitch. At the last step of checkout you are taken to Stitch’s secure page to pay, and brought back here once it is done. Your card details are entered on Stitch’s secure, PCI-compliant page and never touch our systems.
