Why OSA, and why grey
OSA is Keychron's take on a rounded, spherical profile: the tops are dished like a classic SA cap but sit at a more comfortable medium height, so it does not feel as tall as KSA. The legends are double-shot, meaning they are a second layer of plastic moulded through the cap, so they will never rub off, and PBT resists the shiny wear that ABS caps get. The Grey colourway is the understated option, a mix of greys that suits aluminium Q and V boards without drawing attention. If you want more contrast, the Black on White or Blue and White sets are livelier.
Before you buy: layout and fit
This is an ANSI set only, so it will not cover the larger Enter and split left Shift on an ISO (UK-style) keyboard. The 141 keys cover Keychron's ANSI layouts from 60% up to full size, but Menu, Scroll Lock and Pause Break caps are not included. Stems are MX-style and Keychron rates the set for normal-profile MX switches only, so it does not fit low-profile boards. The legends are double-shot but solid, which means RGB backlighting will not shine through them. Keychron also notes that a few stems may be deliberately chipped during moulding; they still sit firmly.
