Gen5 flagship speed for workstations and high-end builds
The Hiksemi Future Core is a PCIe Gen5 x4 NVMe 2.0d drive in the standard M.2 2280 size, built on 3D TLC NAND with fourth-generation 4K LDPC error correction. It is aimed at people moving very large files regularly: high-resolution video editing, large project libraries and demanding multitasking on a current-generation platform.
Key Features
- PCIe Gen5 x4, NVMe 2.0d: sequential reads up to 14,300MB/s and writes up to 8,800MB/s.
- Very high random throughput: up to 1700K IOPS random 4K read and 1500K IOPS random 4K write.
- 3D TLC NAND: with end-to-end data protection and fourth-generation agile ECC (4K LDPC) error correction.
- 980TB endurance: rated for 980 terabytes written, with an MTBF of 2 million hours.
- Controlled power draw: a maximum of 7.5W during peak read operations.
- M.2 2280: the standard 80mm stick that most desktop boards and many laptops accept.

What's in the Box
- 1 x Hiksemi Future Core 1TB Gen5 M.2 NVMe 3D NAND SSD
Gen5 drives run hot: give this one your motherboard's M.2 heatspreader or a dedicated heatsink, and confirm the slot's length, keying and PCIe generation before you buy. In a Gen4 or Gen3 slot it will work but run at that slot's speed. 1TB formats to roughly 931GB usable. Backed by a 5 year warranty and suited to creators, workstation users and high-end gaming builds.
