Built for the mainstream AM4 and LGA1200 gaming build
This is the memory most DDR4 gaming machines actually want. Two 8GB modules fill both channels on a standard four-slot board, which is where the real performance sits — dual channel roughly doubles usable memory bandwidth compared with a single stick, and on Ryzen in particular that shows up directly in minimum framerates. DDR4-3600 has been the sweet spot on AM4 for years because it lines up neatly with a 1800MHz Infinity Fabric clock. The grey brushed finish suits darker builds, and the diffuser spreads light evenly rather than showing hot spots through the top of the module. It is a sensible, unglamorous choice that does the job.
Where this kit is not the right answer
16GB is the practical floor for modern gaming, not a comfortable ceiling. If you stream while you play, keep dozens of browser tabs open, or work in Premiere, Blender or large Unreal projects, buy 32GB instead — you will hit the wall on this kit sooner than you expect, and mixing in a second 2x8GB pair later is never guaranteed to train at rated speed. This is also DDR4 only. It will not fit an AM5 or LGA1851 motherboard; the notch position physically differs and the module will not seat. If you are building a new platform in 2026, buy DDR5 and skip this entirely. CL18 at 3600MHz is a middling latency figure rather than an enthusiast one; if you are chasing the last few percent of 1% lows, a CL16 kit is measurably tighter, though the difference is small.
FEATURES:
- Matched and factory-tested as a pair, so both modules train together reliably
- Full-length RGB light bar, controllable through the major motherboard lighting suites
- Aluminium heat spreader draws heat away from the ICs during long sessions
- XMP 2.0 profile enables the rated 3600MHz with one BIOS toggle
- Standard-height DIMM design that clears most tower air coolers

Why GeIL?
GeIL has been building enthusiast memory since 1993 and the Orion line is its long-running answer to buyers who want RGB without the flagship price. Every GeIL module from AZonline is genuine stock carrying a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
Rated speed applies only once XMP is enabled in BIOS — out of the box these modules run at the JEDEC base speed your board defaults to. Always check your motherboard's QVL before purchase.
