Identical cable set to the 700W Hydro M Pro, with 100W more headroom for the same physical footprint.
Quick Specs
- 800W continuous output
- 80 PLUS 230V EU Bronze, ≥88% efficiency at typical load
- ATX12V V3.0 with a native PCIe Gen 5 12VHPWR cable
- Semi-modular with flat ribbon cables
- 120mm hydraulic bearing fan
Choosing between 800W and 700W
The cable set, the fan, the dimensions and the protection list are the same as the 700W model. What you are paying the extra for is 100W of margin, which matters if your graphics card sits in the 300W range or if you expect to upgrade it before you replace the power supply. Running an 800W unit at around half load also keeps it in the quieter, more efficient part of its curve. If your card draws closer to 200W, the 700W version saves money and does the same job.
Semi-modular, Gen5-ready
The motherboard and CPU cables stay attached; the PCIe, SATA and Molex runs are detachable, so a clean single-GPU build uses only a few of them. A native 12VHPWR cable handles a current graphics card directly, removing the adapter bundle that otherwise has to be folded into the case. Internally it uses 450V 105°C capacitors, a +12V single-rail layout, and DC-to-DC conversion for the minor rails, with hold-up time rated at 17ms or more at 80% load.
FEATURES:
- Native PCIe Gen 5 12VHPWR connector
- Semi-modular flat ribbon cabling
- Eight SATA connectors and three Molex
- 120mm hydraulic bearing fan
- 450V 105°C capacitors with +12V single-rail design
