Semi-modular changes how the build goes together
The motherboard and CPU cables stay attached because every build uses them. Everything else unclips, so a machine with one NVMe drive and no optical bay leaves the SATA and peripheral leads in the box instead of coiled behind the tray. In a case with a glass panel and a shallow cable tunnel, that is the difference between a build that closes cleanly and one where the panel bows. It also speeds up the build, because you are routing three cables rather than the whole harness.
Why the warranty matters more than the watts
750W is the same capacity as the ATOM V750, so you are not buying headroom here, you are buying five years of cover instead of two and a cable set you can manage. For a machine that has to run reliably past the point where most people stop thinking about it, that is the better spend. If capacity is the constraint rather than tidiness, put the money into the CSK 850 Pro instead and get Bronze certification plus a native 12V-2x6 GPU cable for the same sort of price.
