A simple starting point for a first build
The FSP M221 is a no-frills black mid-tower for builders who want a straightforward home for an ATX or Micro-ATX system. Its clearances are clearly stated – 317mm for the graphics card and 163mm for the CPU cooler. At 35.8 x 20.8 x 43.2cm it is small enough for a desk, and RGB lighting gives the build some colour without extra purchases. It suits a budget gaming PC, a first build or a family machine.
Trade-offs to weigh up
Only one fan comes fitted, so most builds will want at least one or two more for sensible airflow, particularly with a warmer graphics card. FSP lists no radiator support for this model, so if you plan to use an AIO liquid cooler, choose a case that states it. The front panel offers a single USB 3.0 port and two USB 2.0 ports, with no USB-C, and no power supply is included. Measure your GPU and cooler against the figures above before buying; if both fit, it is an easy, affordable case to build in.

Before you buy
Will my graphics card fit in this case?
It takes cards up to 317mm long. Every graphics card we list shows its length on the Specifications tab, so compare the two numbers and leave a few millimetres for the power connectors. Front-mounted radiators and fans usually eat into that clearance - the case manual will say by how much.
What CPU cooler will fit?
Air coolers up to 163mm tall. Cooler height is measured from the motherboard surface to the top of the heatsink, and it is the dimension that most often catches people out with a side panel that will not close.
Which motherboards does it take?
It accepts ATX, Micro-ATX boards. A case always takes its own size and anything smaller, so there is no harm in fitting a compact board in a larger case beyond a little wasted space.
Is it in stock, and when will it ship?

What does delivery cost, and how long does it take?

It takes 1-3 working days to Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban and areas within 100km of them, and 2-4 working days to areas more than 100km from a major centre, counted from the day the order is dispatched. Need it sooner? Express delivery is 1-2 working days for R210, or R150 on orders of R2 500 or more - choose it at checkout. We do not ship outside South Africa.
Can I collect instead of having it delivered?
Yes. Collection is from 11 Voortrekker Avenue, Edenvale, Gauteng, by arrangement - message us first so we can have the order picked and waiting. We are open 09:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday.
What warranty does it carry, and how do I claim?
The warranty period for this product is listed at the end of the Specifications section above. Claims go through us, not the manufacturer - contact us with your order number and a description of the fault and we will handle it from there. Separately from any warranty, the Consumer Protection Act gives you six months from delivery to return goods that are defective, unsafe or not fit for their intended purpose.
What if I change my mind?
You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind - longer than the seven days the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act requires. The item needs to be unused and in its original packaging, and we pay the return shipping. Refunds go back to the payment method you used, within 30 days of the return reaching us.
How can I pay?
