What it's actually for
1080p gaming at high settings, and high-refresh 1080p in competitive titles. The 165Hz IPS panel is the right pairing for an RTX 4050 - you will realistically see those frame rates in CS2, Valorant and Apex rather than in Cyberpunk. In heavier single-player games expect to sit around 60-90fps at high settings with DLSS doing some of the work. The 6GB of VRAM is the honest limitation: it is enough today at 1080p, but it is the spec that will date this machine first.
Memory, and why the two sticks matter
Plenty of laptops at this price ship a single 16GB stick, which halves memory bandwidth and quietly costs you frames in GPU-limited games. This one arrives as 8GB + 8GB, running dual channel out of the box. The trade-off is that it is DDR4 rather than DDR5, so it is slower memory than the newer Nitro V models further up this collection - but correctly configured slow memory beats badly configured fast memory more often than people expect.

What is inside this laptop?

Can I upgrade the memory or storage later?
It varies by model - some laptops have sockets you can reach behind a service panel, others solder the memory to the board. Whatever this one supports is listed under Specifications, and opening the machine yourself can affect the warranty. Ask us before you buy an upgrade and we will confirm what will fit.
Is it in stock, and when will it ship?
This one is out of stock at the moment. Stock does come back in - WhatsApp us on 079 491 0181 with the model and we will tell you what the supplier is showing and let you know when it lands, rather than leaving you to keep checking the page.
What does delivery cost, and how long does it take?
We deliver by courier anywhere in South Africa, and delivery is R180 on orders under R2 500 and free on orders of R2 500 or more. It takes 1-3 working days to Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban and areas within 100km of them, and 2-4 working days to areas more than 100km from a major centre, counted from the day the order is dispatched. Need it sooner? Express delivery is 1-2 working days for R210, or R150 on orders of R2 500 or more - choose it at checkout. We do not ship outside South Africa.
Can I collect instead of having it delivered?
Yes. Collection is from 11 Voortrekker Avenue, Edenvale, Gauteng, by arrangement - message us first so we can have the order picked and waiting. We are open 09:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday.
What warranty does it carry, and how do I claim?
The warranty period for this product is listed at the end of the Specifications section above. Claims go through us, not the manufacturer - contact us with your order number and a description of the fault and we will handle it from there. Separately from any warranty, the Consumer Protection Act gives you six months from delivery to return goods that are defective, unsafe or not fit for their intended purpose.
What if I change my mind?
You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind - longer than the seven days the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act requires. The item needs to be unused and in its original packaging, and we pay the return shipping. Refunds go back to the payment method you used, within 30 days of the return reaching us.
How can I pay?
