Fast, small and widely compatible
The T7 is one of the most popular portable SSDs because it gets the basics right. It is roughly the size of a credit card, uses a metal shell that survives drops of up to 2m, and works with Windows, macOS, Android phones and tablets, and game consoles. At up to 1,050MB/s it moves large video files or photo libraries quickly. Both USB-C and USB-A cables are included, so it plugs into older laptops too. Dynamic Thermal Guard keeps it from overheating during long transfers.
T7 or T9?
The T7 runs on USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gbps). The T9 doubles that with USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 (20Gbps) and up to 2,000MB/s, but only on a computer with a Gen 2x2 port, which many laptops and most Macs don't have. On a regular 10Gbps port, the two perform much the same, so for most users the T7 is the better value. Some devices may need the drive reformatted before first use, and the T7 carries a 3 year warranty against the T9's 5.

Questions
Before you buy
Is it in stock, and when will it ship?
This one is out of stock at the moment. Stock does come back in - WhatsApp us on 079 491 0181 with the model and we will tell you what the supplier is showing and let you know when it lands, rather than leaving you to keep checking the page.
What does delivery cost, and how long does it take?
We deliver by courier anywhere in South Africa, and delivery is R180 on orders under R2 500 and free on orders of R2 500 or more. It takes 1-3 working days to Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban and areas within 100km of them, and 2-4 working days to areas more than 100km from a major centre, counted from the day the order is dispatched. Need it sooner? Express delivery is 1-2 working days for R210, or R150 on orders of R2 500 or more - choose it at checkout. We do not ship outside South Africa.
Can I collect instead of having it delivered?
Yes. Collection is from 11 Voortrekker Avenue, Edenvale, Gauteng, by arrangement - message us first so we can have the order picked and waiting. We are open 09:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday.
What warranty does it carry, and how do I claim?
The warranty period for this product is listed at the end of the Specifications section above. Claims go through us, not the manufacturer - contact us with your order number and a description of the fault and we will handle it from there. Separately from any warranty, the Consumer Protection Act gives you six months from delivery to return goods that are defective, unsafe or not fit for their intended purpose.
What if I change my mind?
You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind - longer than the seven days the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act requires. The item needs to be unused and in its original packaging, and we pay the return shipping. Refunds go back to the payment method you used, within 30 days of the return reaching us.
How can I pay?
Payments are processed by Stitch. At the last step of checkout you are taken to Stitch’s secure page to pay, and brought back here once it is done. Your card details are entered on Stitch’s secure, PCI-compliant page and never touch our systems.
