The C922 adds a 720p/60fps mode to the C920 recipe, so fast movement on a stream looks smooth rather than smeared.

- Full HD glass lens, 20-step autofocus
- 78° diagonal field of view

Made for streaming and recording
The C922 is the streaming version of Logitech's long-running 1080p webcam. At 1080p it runs at 30fps like the C920, but drop to 720p and it doubles to 60fps, which suits game streaming, workout videos or anything with a lot of movement in front of the camera. Automatic low-light correction helps in a typical gaming room lit by a monitor and a lamp. The dual microphones are fine for chat and calls, though most streamers will want a proper USB mic. It works with OBS and other streaming software as a standard USB video device, and Logitech's own software lets you zoom and pan.
When a cheaper or newer camera makes more sense
If you only need video calls, the C920s does the same 1080p30 for less and adds a privacy shutter, which the C922 doesn't have. If your room has a bright window, the Brio 500's HDR will cope better. The C922 connects by USB-A, so USB-C laptops need an adapter. Its 78° field of view is fixed in hardware and suits one person at a desk. For a streamer on a budget who wants smoother motion than a standard 30fps camera, it remains a sensible pick.
