Replacing or refreshing a Keychron board
These are Keychron's own K Pro Brown switches, sold loose in a pack of 110. That makes them a simple way to replace worn or chattering switches with a matching set, or to move a board over to Browns from another switch. Because the pack covers a full-size layout, you can re-switch everything at once so every key feels the same. If you are after a very quiet board, look at the Silent K Pro Brown instead; if you want a heavy audible click, the K Pro Blue is the one.
Check your keyboard first
Compatibility is the main thing to check: these are listed for the Keychron K series (Gateron or Keychron Mechanical Hot-Swappable versions only), K Pro and K Max (normal-profile versions only), C and C Pro (hot-swappable versions only), V and V Max, Q, Q Pro and Q Max, and the Lemokey L and P series. Low-profile boards and soldered, non-hot-swap keyboards are not suitable. You will need a switch puller to remove the old switches, and it is worth straightening any bent pins before pressing the new ones in. The transparent PC upper housing lets per-key lighting shine through evenly.
