Check Your Laptop Before You Buy
This is a SO-DIMM laptop module and will not fit a desktop motherboard. It is DDR4, so it will not work in a DDR3, DDR3L or DDR5 laptop: each generation is keyed differently and they are not interchangeable. Many thin-and-light laptops have some or all of their memory soldered to the board with no free slot, so check the spec sheet or open the base panel first. Check the laptop's maximum supported speed and capacity per slot: in a laptop rated below 3200MHz, this module will usually run at the lower supported speed.
