Where a 4GB DDR4 stick belongs
This is a service part. Its job is filling an empty slot in a business desktop, replacing a module that has failed in a point-of-sale or reception machine, or bringing a low-spec prebuilt from 4GB to 8GB for the price of a takeaway. At 2666MHz it runs at the speed most non-enthusiast DDR4 boards default to, so it will boot and work without touching the BIOS and without needing to match an XMP profile. If your requirement is a spreadsheet, a browser and a payroll application, this does the job quietly and cheaply, and the lifetime warranty means a failure is not a second purchase.
Be clear about what it is not
4GB is not enough for modern gaming, and it is barely enough for Windows 11 on its own. Do not buy this expecting it to help framerates; even paired with a second identical stick for 8GB you are below the practical floor for current games, which is 16GB. Anyone building or upgrading a gaming machine should be looking at a 2x8GB or 2x16GB kit and skipping this listing entirely. Bear in mind too that DDR4 will not fit a DDR5 board, as the notch position differs, and a single module runs in single channel, which is particularly costly on systems relying on integrated graphics. Check your motherboard's QVL.

Before you buy
Will this memory work in my PC?
This is DDR4 rated at 2666 MT/s. Your motherboard has to support the same generation - DDR4 and DDR5 modules are keyed differently and will not physically fit the wrong board. The rated speed needs the memory profile (XMP on Intel, EXPO on AMD) switched on in the BIOS; without it the kit runs at the board’s default speed.
What exactly is in this kit?
4GB in total, supplied as 1 matched modules. Modules sold together are tested to run as a set, which is why a kit is the safer buy than two single sticks bought separately. Fit them in the slots your motherboard manual specifies for dual channel - usually the second and fourth from the CPU.
Is it in stock, and when will it ship?

What does delivery cost, and how long does it take?
We deliver by courier anywhere in South Africa, and delivery is R180 on orders under R2 500 and free on orders of R2 500 or more. It takes 1-3 working days to Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban and areas within 100km of them, and 2-4 working days to areas more than 100km from a major centre, counted from the day the order is dispatched. Can I collect instead of having it delivered?
Yes. Collection is from 11 Voortrekker Avenue, Edenvale, Gauteng, by arrangement - message us first so we can have the order picked and waiting. We are open 09:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday.
What warranty does it carry, and how do I claim?
The warranty period for this product is listed at the end of the Specifications section above. Claims go through us, not the manufacturer - contact us with your order number and a description of the fault and we will handle it from there. Separately from any warranty, the Consumer Protection Act gives you six months from delivery to return goods that are defective, unsafe or not fit for their intended purpose.
What if I change my mind?
You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind - longer than the seven days the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act requires. The item needs to be unused and in its original packaging, and we pay the return shipping. Refunds go back to the payment method you used, within 30 days of the return reaching us.
