The extra R100 over the PL650D buys 100W of headroom and a fourth SATA lead, on the same ATX 3.1 platform with the same native 16-pin cable.

- Non-modular (all cables permanently attached)
- ATX12V V3.1, PCIe 5.1, native 12V-2x6 (16-pin) connector

The one to pick if the GPU is a 70-class card
750W is the tier where a 70-class or 70 Ti-class graphics card stops feeling tight. Against the 650W model you get roughly 100W more room, which in practice means the unit spends less of its life near the top of its rating and the fan spends less of its life audible. It also carries four SATA leads across two cables rather than three, which matters if you are still running a pair of mechanical drives alongside an SSD. For anything at 5080 level or above, this is still not enough supply, and you should be looking at the Gold PQ series instead.
Attached cables, current connectors
This is a non-modular unit, so every cable leaves the housing whether your build uses it or not. Plan the routing before you screw it in: the unused peripheral and SATA leads have to live somewhere, and behind the tray of a cramped case is not always somewhere. What you get in exchange is an ATX12V V3.1 supply with a native PCIe 5.1 12V-2x6 connector at an entry-level price, a dual-transistor forward platform with DC-to-DC conversion, and a hold-up time of at least 16ms, which is the margin that keeps a machine running through a brief dip rather than dropping it.
