An 8GB DDR4 stick that reaches its rated 2666MHz CL16 at the standard 1.2V, so it plays nicely with older and locked boards.
Quick Specs
- 8GB single module (1 x 8GB) DDR4 UDIMM
- 2666MHz at CL16, 1.2V
- XMP 2.0 profile
- Low-profile anodised aluminium heatspreader
- Black, no lighting
For topping up older Intel systems
2666MHz is the official memory speed for many Intel 8th to 10th generation CPUs, and plenty of office and budget boards (H310, B360, H410 and similar) cap memory at that speed anyway. Because this module hits 2666MHz CL16 at 1.2V, there's no voltage bump to worry about. Corsair's listed compatibility is Intel 100 through 600 series. It's a straightforward way to add 8GB to an existing machine or replace a failed stick. This is DDR4, so it won't fit DDR5 boards or DDR3 machines.
Know its limits
A single 8GB stick runs in single-channel mode, which slows integrated graphics noticeably. Pair two modules for dual channel where you can. For a new AMD Ryzen build, a 3200MHz kit is a better match than 2666MHz. The low heatspreader suits compact cases and big tower coolers, and there's no RGB.
FEATURES:
- Low-profile design for small cases and limited cooler clearance
- XMP 2.0 support sets the rated speed with one BIOS setting
- Anodised aluminium heatspreader draws heat away from the ICs
- Individually screened memory ICs on a custom PCB
- Compatibility tested across a wide range of motherboards
