Who 750W is right for
750W covers the mainstream gaming build properly: a 70-class GPU, a mid-to-high core count CPU, a couple of NVMe drives and case fans, with real margin left over. It is not the unit for an RTX 5090, and pushing a 1000W-class card onto it will have the over-power protection doing its job at the worst possible moment. What it does give you is a Gold-rated platform that runs cool and quiet under the 300 to 450W loads most South African gaming rigs actually pull at the wall.
Short depth, clean loom
The 150mm chassis depth and sub-1.5 kg weight make this one of the easier 750W units to work with in a compact mid-tower where the PSU shroud is tight. Cabling is fully modular, and the single 16-pin lead is terminated at both the PSU and the card, so a 50-series GPU plugs straight in without the four-way adapter that ships with older units. The CPU side gives you two 4+4-pin leads at 650mm each, long enough to route behind the tray on most ATX boards.
FEATURES:
- ATX 3.1 compliance for modern GPU transient power excursions
- Native PCIe Gen 5.1 16-pin cable terminated at both ends
- Active PFC with a 100-240Vac input range, tolerant of South African mains swings
- Fully modular cabling so unused SATA and peripheral leads never enter the case
- OPP, OVP, UVP, SCP, OCP and OTP protection

Questions
Before you buy
Is this enough power for my build?
It is a 750W supply rated 80 Plus Gold. Add up what your parts need - the graphics card is usually the biggest single draw, and every card we sell lists its recommended system wattage - then leave headroom above that figure. A supply running at roughly half its rating is quieter and lasts longer than one held near its limit.
Is it modular?
It is Fully Modular. Fully modular means every cable unplugs, so you only fit the ones you need; semi-modular keeps the motherboard and CPU cables attached and makes the rest optional; non-modular has them all permanently fixed. It is a tidiness and airflow question rather than a performance one. Never reuse cables from a different supply - the pinouts differ between brands.
Is it in stock, and when will it ship?
This one is out of stock at the moment. Stock does come back in - WhatsApp us on 079 491 0181 with the model and we will tell you what the supplier is showing and let you know when it lands, rather than leaving you to keep checking the page.
What does delivery cost, and how long does it take?
We deliver by courier anywhere in South Africa, and delivery is R180 on orders under R2 500 and free on orders of R2 500 or more. It takes 1-3 working days to Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban and areas within 100km of them, and 2-4 working days to areas more than 100km from a major centre, counted from the day the order is dispatched. Need it sooner? Express delivery is 1-2 working days for R210, or R150 on orders of R2 500 or more - choose it at checkout. We do not ship outside South Africa.
Can I collect instead of having it delivered?
Yes. Collection is from 11 Voortrekker Avenue, Edenvale, Gauteng, by arrangement - message us first so we can have the order picked and waiting. We are open 09:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday.
What warranty does it carry, and how do I claim?
The warranty period for this product is listed at the end of the Specifications section above. Claims go through us, not the manufacturer - contact us with your order number and a description of the fault and we will handle it from there. Separately from any warranty, the Consumer Protection Act gives you six months from delivery to return goods that are defective, unsafe or not fit for their intended purpose.
What if I change my mind?
You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind - longer than the seven days the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act requires. The item needs to be unused and in its original packaging, and we pay the return shipping. Refunds go back to the payment method you used, within 30 days of the return reaching us.
How can I pay?
Payments are processed by Stitch. At the last step of checkout you are taken to Stitch’s secure page to pay, and brought back here once it is done. Your card details are entered on Stitch’s secure, PCI-compliant page and never touch our systems.
