Reach and range for any mic
The Wave Mic Arm MK.2 is Elgato's classic dual-section boom arm. With 950mm of horizontal and 850mm of vertical reach, it brings a mic in from the side of the desk, up over a monitor or down close to a mixer. The spring-loaded mechanism is rated from 200g to 1.2kg including accessories, so it holds both light condenser mics and heavier dynamics without drooping. The included 150mm riser raises the whole arm for extra clearance. Cables push into channels along the top of the arm, the metal construction carries no visible logos, and snap-on hinge caps let you change the look.
MK.2, LP or Pro?
This is the most flexible of Elgato's arms for reach, but it rises over the top, so it can sit in your camera shot or eyeline. If that bothers you, the low-profile Wave Mic Arm LP or Pro stays below your shoulder line. Mind the minimum load: very light mics under 200g may not stay put. Heavy broadcast mics plus a shock mount can pass 1.2kg, so weigh your setup. The clamp opens to 60mm; a Desk Plate (sold separately) suits flush tabletop mounting.
