Sharpness, and the scaling you will actually use
4K across 27 inches is about 163 pixels per inch, which is roughly where individual pixels stop being visible at desk distance. Fonts look printed rather than drawn. In practice nobody runs this at 100 percent scaling, because interface elements become tiny; you set Windows or macOS to 150 percent and get 1440p-equivalent working space rendered at four times the detail. That is the real benefit, and it is why this suits document work, photo editing and anyone who reads on screen all day far better than any 1080p panel here.
USB-C, 60Hz, and who should not buy this
USB-C only earns its keep if you dock a laptop: one cable carries the picture, and on a monitor of this type usually power and peripherals too. Xiaomi does not publish a power delivery wattage for the A27Ui, so check it against your laptop's charging requirement before you rely on it as the sole charger. The other limit is refresh: 60Hz is fine for work and wrong for gaming, and with a 6ms response this is not a screen to play anything fast on. If you want 4K and games, this is not it; if you want the sharpest text on the list, it is.
