When touch on a second screen is worth paying for
Most portable monitors are just another window to look at. Touch changes what the screen is for. Signing a delivery note or a quote in front of a client, running a point-of-sale or booking interface at a market stall or pop-up, annotating a drawing on site, or handing the screen to someone to fill in a form all work far better with a finger than with a trackpad. Windows and most Linux desktops handle USB touch input without extra drivers. If none of that describes your work, the non-touch Port model or the PCBuilder FLEX will do the same display job for less money.
Check the connection before you order
Port does not publish a full public specification sheet for this model, so the panel type, brightness and exact port layout are not confirmed here and this listing does not guess at them. Portable monitors of this kind generally run over a single USB-C cable carrying video, touch data and power using DisplayPort Alt Mode, and not every laptop USB-C port supports video output. Check your machine before ordering. At 15.6 inches, 1920 x 1080 is a sensible pairing that keeps text sharp without the scaling problems a higher resolution causes on a small panel.
