- 1920 x 1080 (Full HD)

A large, comfortable screen for home use
The S39GD is a 32-inch curved monitor aimed at people who want a lot of screen for video, browsing and casual games. The 1500R curve is gentler than a gaming ultrawide, but it still brings the edges of a big panel closer to your eyes. The VA panel's 3,000:1 contrast gives deeper blacks than IPS, which helps films and dark scenes, and 95% sRGB coverage keeps colours lively. At 100Hz, motion and scrolling are smoother than a basic 60Hz screen. It ships at 60Hz, so set 100Hz in the menu.
Why 1080p at 32" is a compromise
Full HD over 32 inches means large pixels. From a normal desk distance, text and fine detail look visibly soft, so this suits a deeper desk or viewing from further back. If you work with spreadsheets or code all day, look at a 1440p or 4K 32" instead. There is no FreeSync, no DisplayPort or USB-C, and no speakers (there is a headphone jack). The stand only tilts (-2° to 22°) and it mounts on 75 x 75mm VESA.
