An 8GB RX 7600 on a B550 board — the value sweet spot of the AM4 builds, and the first one comfortable at 1440p.
Quick Specs
- AMD Ryzen 5 5600XT, 6 cores / 12 threads, up to 4.7GHz
- Radeon RX 7600 8GB GDDR6
- 16GB DDR4 3600MHz (2 x 8GB)
- 1TB Gen4 NVMe SSD, 5,000MB/s read
- Windows 11 Home
Why this is the pick of the AM4 machines
Three real upgrades over the SENTINEL for R3 000. The RX 7600 carries 8GB of memory against the RTX 3050's 6GB, which is what keeps texture settings high as games get bigger. Syntech's estimates jump accordingly — around 165 FPS in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3, 175 in Diablo IV and 140 in Forza Horizon 5. The SSD is a faster Gen4 drive at 5,000MB/s read. And the board steps up from A520M to B550M, which brings faster PCIe and better VRM cooling.
Worth knowing
8GB and the RX 7600's performance class make this a strong 1080p machine and a capable 1440p one at sensible settings — it is not a ray-tracing card. Note this build ships with Windows 11 but, unlike the cheaper PCBuilder machines, Syntech do not list a month of PC Game Pass with it.

Questions
Before you buy
What is in this PC?
It is built around a Ryzen 5 5600XT processor, RX 7600 8GB graphics and 16GB DDR4 of memory. The complete parts list, including the storage, power supply and case, is in the Specifications section above.
Does it arrive ready to use?
It arrives assembled and tested - you connect a monitor, keyboard and mouse and switch it on. Whether an operating system is included is shown in the Specifications and What’s in the box lists above; if it is not listed, budget for a Windows licence, which we also sell. We do not ship a monitor, keyboard or mouse with a desktop unless the listing says so.
Can I upgrade it later?
Yes - it is built from standard desktop parts, so the graphics card, memory and storage can all be changed later within the limits of the case, motherboard and power supply. If you tell us what you are planning we will check the clearance and wattage before you order.
Is it in stock, and when will it ship?
This one is out of stock at the moment. Stock does come back in - WhatsApp us on 079 491 0181 with the model and we will tell you what the supplier is showing and let you know when it lands, rather than leaving you to keep checking the page.
What does delivery cost, and how long does it take?
We deliver by courier anywhere in South Africa, and delivery is free on every order. It takes 1-3 working days to Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban and areas within 100km of them, and 2-4 working days to areas more than 100km from a major centre, counted from the day the order is dispatched. Need it sooner? Express delivery is 1-2 working days for R150 - choose it at checkout. We do not ship outside South Africa.
Can I collect instead of having it delivered?
Yes. Collection is from 11 Voortrekker Avenue, Edenvale, Gauteng, by arrangement - message us first so we can have the order picked and waiting. We are open 09:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday.
What warranty does it carry, and how do I claim?
The warranty period for this product is listed at the end of the Specifications section above. Claims go through us, not the manufacturer - contact us with your order number and a description of the fault and we will handle it from there. Separately from any warranty, the Consumer Protection Act gives you six months from delivery to return goods that are defective, unsafe or not fit for their intended purpose.
What if I change my mind?
You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind - longer than the seven days the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act requires. The item needs to be unused and in its original packaging, and we pay the return shipping. Refunds go back to the payment method you used, within 30 days of the return reaching us.
How can I pay?
Payments are processed by Stitch. At the last step of checkout you are taken to Stitch’s secure page to pay, and brought back here once it is done. Your card details are entered on Stitch’s secure, PCI-compliant page and never touch our systems.
