The PCBuilder Picometre 14.5W/m.k Thermal Paste is aimed at PC builders and enthusiasts who want stronger cooling performance. It enhances heat transfer between your CPU or GPU and cooler, helping your system stay cool during demanding tasks. With thermal conductivity of 14.5W/m.k and ultra-low resistance (<0.095℃-in²/W), it is the better pick over the 8.5W/m.k Micrometre for hot-running, high-core-count or overclocked chips.
Engineered for a balanced density (viscosity of 95000±2000mPa, specific gravity of 2.8), it spreads smoothly into a consistent layer that fills microscopic gaps for maximum contact. Rated for operating temperatures from -50°C to 280°C, its silicone-based formula with 85% metal oxides is built to resist drying and cracking, and it is not electrically conductive, so there is no short-circuit risk to sensitive components.
To apply, clean the contact surfaces of your CPU or GPU and heatsink, add a small amount to the centre of the component, then secure the heatsink to spread the paste evenly.
