8.5W/m.k conductivity | Non-conductive, non-curing formula | Cleaning wipe, brush and scraper included
The PCBuilder Micrometre 8.5W/m.k Thermal Paste is a dependable, budget-friendly choice for PC builds, cooler swaps and routine maintenance. Thermal paste fills the microscopic gaps between your CPU or GPU and its heatsink, so heat moves into the cooler instead of building up in the chip. With thermal conductivity of 8.5W/m.k and low thermal resistance (<0.135℃-in²/W), it is well suited to everyday gaming and office systems.
A balanced density (viscosity of 75000±2000mPa, specific gravity of 2.6) makes application easy and controlled, and the paste is rated for operating temperatures from -50°C to 200°C. The silicone-based formula with 80% metal oxides is not electrically conductive, so a stray smear near delicate components is not a short-circuit risk.
To apply, clean the CPU or GPU and heatsink surfaces thoroughly, add a small amount of paste to the centre of the component, then mount the cooler — the mounting pressure spreads the paste into an even layer. If you are chasing every last degree on a heavily overclocked chip, the 14.5W/m.k Picometre is the step up.
