Where the extra money goes
Three places, and they are all structural rather than cosmetic. The base is 350mm metal instead of nylon, which is what stops a chair developing a wobble after a year. The gas lift is class 4 rather than class 3, rated for more weight and more cycles. And the seat is cold-moulded foam, which is denser than standard moulded foam and holds its shape instead of flattening into a dish under the spot you always sit. Together those lift the weight limit to 150kg and are the difference between a chair that lasts and one that sags.
The adjustment that actually matters
The 4D armrests are the feature you notice daily. Moving them in and out and forward and back lets you support your forearms at the desk rather than hovering, which is where shoulder and neck ache usually starts on a long session. The 160-degree recline goes far enough back to rest properly between rounds. Two things to check before you order: this is a big chair at 66 x 73cm with a 126.5 to 133.5cm back, and it weighs 20.7kg assembled, so measure the space and plan on a second pair of hands for the build.

Will this chair fit me, and will it fit my room?
It is rated to a 150kg weight limit and measures 66 x 73 x 126.5-133.5 cm assembled. The height figure is the range the backrest reaches at its lowest and highest seat setting, so check it against any shelf or sloped ceiling above the desk. Gaming chairs are consistently larger in person than they look in photographs - measure the floor space before you order.
How far does it recline, and how do the armrests move?
The backrest goes from upright to 90-160 degrees, and the armrests are 4D (4 directions). Armrest movement is the adjustment that matters most day to day: being able to bring the rests in and forward so your forearms are supported at the desk is what keeps shoulders and neck out of trouble on a long session.
What holds the height, and how long will it last?
A Class 4 gas lift on a 350mm metal base. Gas lift class is the honest indicator of how long a chair keeps its height - a higher class is rated for more weight and more cycles - and a metal base resists the wobble that nylon develops over time. These are the two parts that fail on a chair, which is why they are worth comparing between models rather than going on looks.

We deliver by courier anywhere in South Africa, and delivery is R180 on orders under R2 500 and free on orders of R2 500 or more. It takes 1-3 working days to Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban and areas within 100km of them, and 2-4 working days to areas more than 100km from a major centre, counted from the day the order is dispatched. Need it sooner? Express delivery is 1-2 working days for R210, or R150 on orders of R2 500 or more - choose it at checkout. We do not ship outside South Africa.
Can I collect instead of having it delivered?
Yes. Collection is from 11 Voortrekker Avenue, Edenvale, Gauteng, by arrangement - message us first so we can have the order picked and waiting. We are open 09:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday.
What warranty does it carry, and how do I claim?
The warranty period for this product is listed at the end of the Specifications section above. Claims go through us, not the manufacturer - contact us with your order number and a description of the fault and we will handle it from there. Separately from any warranty, the Consumer Protection Act gives you six months from delivery to return goods that are defective, unsafe or not fit for their intended purpose.
What if I change my mind?
You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind - longer than the seven days the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act requires. The item needs to be unused and in its original packaging, and we pay the return shipping. Refunds go back to the payment method you used, within 30 days of the return reaching us.
How can I pay?
