A compact 75% board where 39 keys run on TMR analog switches and the rest are tactile mechanical.
Quick Specs
- 75% layout, 81 keys
- 39 TMR analog Dual Swap switch beds
- Tactile Kailh mechanical switches on the remaining keys
- Up to 8 kHz polling, 0.125 ms
- PBT keycaps, RGB lightbar, 2 rotary knobs
Two kinds of switch on one board
The G512 X 75 puts Tunnel Magnetoresistance (TMR) analog switches on the 39 keys you use most in games. With those fitted, actuation can be set per key from 0.1 to 4.0 mm, and each key can trigger two different actions at two depths, with the included SAPP rings giving a bump at the second point. Every one of those 39 beds is Dual Swap, so you can also drop in any standard 3- or 5-pin mechanical switch. This version uses tactile Kailh switches elsewhere, rated at 50 g, for a bump you can feel when typing. Polling runs at up to 8 kHz, keycaps are PBT, and two rotary knobs sit top right.
Is a 75% board right for you?
A 75% layout drops the number pad and squeezes the navigation keys into a column, which frees up mouse space for low-sensitivity players. If you type numbers a lot, the G512 X 98 keeps a number pad. Tactile switches suit people who type as much as they game; if you want a smooth, quiet press, look for the linear version. It's wired only, via a detachable USB-C cable, and the palm rest is sold separately. All analog settings and RGB are handled in G HUB, with three onboard profiles.
