109 pixels per inch, and why that number matters
At 27 inches, 2560 x 1440 lands on roughly 109 pixels per inch. That is the density where Windows and macOS look right at 100% scaling: text is sharp, interface elements are the size the designers intended, and you get about 78% more desktop area than a Full HD screen of the same size. For spreadsheets with a lot of columns, two documents side by side, or a code editor with a terminal next to it, that extra area is the whole point. If you want the same crispness on a bigger canvas, the 32-inch 32U631A is the same panel specification scaled up.
Read the USB-C spec before you buy
The USB-C port carries video and data down one cable, which is genuinely convenient for a laptop that lives on a dock. The number to note is 15W of power delivery. That will trickle-charge a phone or keep a very low-power tablet alive, but it will not power a working laptop, so keep the laptop's own charger plugged in. If single-cable charging is what you are after, this is not the monitor for it. There are no built-in speakers either, and the stand tilts only, so budget for an arm if you need height.

Questions
Before you buy
What do I need to run it at its full refresh rate?
To reach 100Hz at 2560 x 1440 you need a graphics card able to output that mode, a cable that supports it, and the refresh rate selected in Windows display settings - monitors often default to 60Hz out of the box. The ports on this panel are listed under Specifications above.
What sort of panel is it?
It is IPS with a 5ms GtG response time. Panel type is the main thing that decides how a monitor looks off-centre and how it handles colour and contrast, so it is worth weighing against refresh rate rather than choosing on the headline number alone.
Can I wall-mount it or put it on an arm?
This is a 27.0 inch panel. Whether it takes a VESA mount, and at which spacing, is listed under Specifications - if a VESA size is shown there, any arm or bracket rated for that pattern and the monitor’s weight will fit. If you are not sure, send us the model of your arm and we will check.
Is it in stock, and when will it ship?
This one is out of stock at the moment. Stock does come back in - WhatsApp us on 079 491 0181 with the model and we will tell you what the supplier is showing and let you know when it lands, rather than leaving you to keep checking the page.
What does delivery cost, and how long does it take?
We deliver by courier anywhere in South Africa, and delivery is R180 on orders under R2 500 and free on orders of R2 500 or more. It takes 1-3 working days to Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban and areas within 100km of them, and 2-4 working days to areas more than 100km from a major centre, counted from the day the order is dispatched. Need it sooner? Express delivery is 1-2 working days for R210, or R150 on orders of R2 500 or more - choose it at checkout. We do not ship outside South Africa.
Can I collect instead of having it delivered?
Yes. Collection is from 11 Voortrekker Avenue, Edenvale, Gauteng, by arrangement - message us first so we can have the order picked and waiting. We are open 09:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday.
What warranty does it carry, and how do I claim?
The warranty period for this product is listed at the end of the Specifications section above. Claims go through us, not the manufacturer - contact us with your order number and a description of the fault and we will handle it from there. Separately from any warranty, the Consumer Protection Act gives you six months from delivery to return goods that are defective, unsafe or not fit for their intended purpose.
What if I change my mind?
You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind - longer than the seven days the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act requires. The item needs to be unused and in its original packaging, and we pay the return shipping. Refunds go back to the payment method you used, within 30 days of the return reaching us.
How can I pay?
Payments are processed by Stitch. At the last step of checkout you are taken to Stitch’s secure page to pay, and brought back here once it is done. Your card details are entered on Stitch’s secure, PCI-compliant page and never touch our systems.
