A single 16GB DDR5-6000 stick for topping up an AM5 or LGA1700 build — read the channel note before you buy.
Quick Specs
- 16GB capacity supplied as one single module, not a kit
- DDR5-6000 rated speed at CL38 timings
- Grey heat spreader with a diffused RGB light bar along the top edge
- XMP 3.0 and AMD EXPO profiles for one-toggle setup
- Limited Lifetime Warranty, genuine local stock
DDR5-6000 is the platform sweet spot, and this is the entry point to it
On AM5, DDR5-6000 is the speed most Ryzen 7000 and 9000 chips are happiest at, because it keeps the memory controller running in its efficient 1:1 mode. On Intel's LGA1700 and LGA1851 boards it is a comfortable, well-supported rung too. This Orion module carries both an Intel XMP 3.0 profile and an AMD EXPO profile, so whichever platform you are on, the rated speed is one BIOS toggle away. The grey spreader and softly diffused light bar sit well in a build that already has grey or gunmetal hardware, and the module height clears most large tower air coolers.
Single module means single channel, and that matters
This is one stick, not a pair. Installed on its own it runs in single channel, which roughly halves your memory bandwidth compared with two matched modules — and on a gaming machine that is a real, measurable framerate cost, not a rounding error. Buy this if you are adding a second identical module to an existing Orion stick, or if you plan to pair it immediately. If you are building fresh, buy a 2x16GB kit instead; two sticks bought together are factory-matched and train far more reliably than two bought months apart. Note too that this is DDR5 and will not seat in an AM4 or LGA1200 board — the notch position physically differs. CL38 is a relaxed latency for 6000MHz; a CL36 or CL30 module is genuinely tighter, though the gap is modest.
FEATURES:

- On-die ECC and integrated power management, standard across DDR5
- Diffused RGB light bar, controllable through motherboard lighting software
- Aluminium heat spreader for sustained-load thermal headroom
- Standard-height DIMM that clears the majority of tower air coolers

Why GeIL?
GeIL has been designing and testing its own memory modules since 1993, and Orion is the line it built for people who want lighting and rated speed without flagship pricing. Every GeIL module from AZonline is genuine stock carrying a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
Rated speed applies only once XMP or EXPO is enabled in BIOS — out of the box DDR5 defaults to the JEDEC base speed of 4800MHz. Always check your motherboard's QVL before purchase.
