A sub-R1000 supply with a native 12V-2x6 cable rated to 300W, which is not something you normally find at the Bronze end of the shelf.
Quick Specs
- 650W output, 80 Plus Bronze
- Non-modular (all cables permanently attached)
- ATX12V V3.1, native PCIe 5.1 12V-2x6 connector rated to 300W
- 120mm hydro-bearing fan
- 150 x 140 x 86mm, 5-year warranty
Who this is right for
650W at 80 Plus Bronze is the correct call for a budget or mid-range gaming build: a 60-class or 70-class GPU, a mainstream six or eight core CPU, a couple of drives. It is the wrong call for an RTX 5080 or anything above it, where the transient spikes alone will eat your headroom. Being non-modular, every cable is attached whether you need it or not, so budget a bit of space behind the motherboard tray for the SATA and peripheral leads you are not using. In a case with a decent basement shroud that is a non-issue.
ATX 3.1 at a price that usually does not include it
What sets the PL650D apart from the older Bronze units it sits next to is the native 12V-2x6 (16-pin) cable, rated up to 300 watts. If you are fitting a current-generation card with a 16-pin socket, that means no adapter, no bundle of PCIe plugs folded against the side panel, and no extra connection to go wrong. The ATX12V V3.1 design is also built to absorb the short power excursions modern GPUs produce instead of shutting down. Protection is the full suite, and the 120mm hydro-bearing fan is rated for a 100,000 hour MTBF.

Why DeepCool?
DeepCool puts current-generation connectors into its entry-level supplies instead of holding them back for the premium range, which is why a budget build here can still run a 16-pin card without an adapter. Backed by a 5 year warranty.
