A 59g wireless mouse that gets its low weight without a honeycomb shell, so there are no holes to collect dust.
Quick Specs
- Hybrid wireless: 2.4GHz, Bluetooth 5.1 and wired USB-C
- PixArt optical sensor, up to 19000 DPI and 400 IPS
- Optical micro switches rated for 70 million clicks
- Around 59g with a seamless, hole-less shell
- Up to 80 hours on 2.4GHz, 180 hours on Bluetooth (LED off)
Who it suits
The MM712 is aimed at FPS and competitive players who want a light, symmetrical-feeling mouse for fast flicks without being tied to a cable. At 116.5mm long and 62.4mm wide it suits palm and claw grips on small to medium hands; if you have large hands or prefer a high, ergonomic hump, a bigger mouse will be more comfortable. Bluetooth 5.1 lets you pair it with a laptop or tablet when travelling, and the 2.4GHz link gives 1000Hz polling for gaming. The DPI steps run from 400 to 19000, adjustable on the fly.
Battery and practical trade-offs
Battery life is rated at up to 80 hours on 2.4GHz and up to 180 hours on Bluetooth with the LED off, so leaving the RGB logo on will shorten that. Bluetooth runs at 125Hz polling, which is fine for desktop work but not for competitive gaming. When the battery runs low, plug in the 1.8m Ultraweave cable and keep playing while it charges. The optical switches avoid the double-click problems mechanical switches can develop. This is the black matte version; a white version is also made.
FEATURES:
- Hybrid 2.4GHz and Bluetooth 5.1 wireless with wired mode
- Seamless, hole-less 59g chassis
- Optical micro switches that register faster than traditional mechanical switches
- PTFE feet and a flexible Ultraweave cable
- RGB logo that also shows the current DPI setting, plus On-the-Fly DPI and macro controls

Questions
Before you buy
Is it in stock, and when will it ship?
This one is out of stock at the moment. Stock does come back in - WhatsApp us on 079 491 0181 with the model and we will tell you what the supplier is showing and let you know when it lands, rather than leaving you to keep checking the page.
What does delivery cost, and how long does it take?
We deliver by courier anywhere in South Africa, and delivery is R180 on orders under R2 500 and free on orders of R2 500 or more. It takes 1-3 working days to Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban and areas within 100km of them, and 2-4 working days to areas more than 100km from a major centre, counted from the day the order is dispatched. Need it sooner? Express delivery is 1-2 working days for R210, or R150 on orders of R2 500 or more - choose it at checkout. We do not ship outside South Africa.
Can I collect instead of having it delivered?
Yes. Collection is from 11 Voortrekker Avenue, Edenvale, Gauteng, by arrangement - message us first so we can have the order picked and waiting. We are open 09:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday.
What warranty does it carry, and how do I claim?
The warranty period for this product is listed at the end of the Specifications section above. Claims go through us, not the manufacturer - contact us with your order number and a description of the fault and we will handle it from there. Separately from any warranty, the Consumer Protection Act gives you six months from delivery to return goods that are defective, unsafe or not fit for their intended purpose.
What if I change my mind?
You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind - longer than the seven days the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act requires. The item needs to be unused and in its original packaging, and we pay the return shipping. Refunds go back to the payment method you used, within 30 days of the return reaching us.
How can I pay?
Payments are processed by Stitch. At the last step of checkout you are taken to Stitch’s secure page to pay, and brought back here once it is done. Your card details are entered on Stitch’s secure, PCI-compliant page and never touch our systems.
