Who it is for

The PL240 Flux White Edition suits mid-range gaming and productivity builds on current Intel and AMD platforms, and its socket list is unusually long, reaching back to LGA 2011 and Threadripper TR4 for older workstation boards. The 0rpm-capable PWM fans and quiet pump make it a good fit for a PC that idles a lot. A 240mm AIO is a sensible step up from air for six- to eight-core CPUs; for a Core i9 or Ryzen 9 under long all-core loads, a 360mm radiator gives more headroom. Note the retail box may not mention AM5, but Cooler Master confirms AM5 compatibility.

White build and trade-offs

This is the white edition, made to match white cases and components; the standard PL240 Flux is black. The slim 27.2mm radiator helps with clearance against tall RAM or motherboard heatsinks in top-mount setups, at the cost of a little thermal mass compared with thicker radiators. The redesigned Flux fans peak at 32 dBA, so tune the fan curve if noise matters. Lighting is dual-loop ARGB on the pump plus ARGB Gen 2 fans, driven by the included controller or customised through MasterPlus+, so you do not strictly need a motherboard ARGB header.
