A 31.5" 4K QD-OLED with Delta E under 1 and Dolby Vision, sized for a grading suite rather than a laptop bag.
Quick Specs
- 31.5" QD-OLED, 3840 x 2160, 16:9
- 240Hz refresh rate, 0.1ms GtG response
- 1,500,000:1 contrast, 1,000 nits HDR peak
- 100% sRGB, 99% DCI-P3, 10-bit, Delta E under 1
- 2x Thunderbolt 4 (daisy chain, 96W), HDMI 2.1
The larger of the two ProArt OLEDs
This is the same QD-OLED technology and the same 240Hz, 0.1ms panel behaviour as the 26.5" PA27UCDMR, spread over 31.5 inches. Density drops to roughly 140 PPI, so text is less fine than on the smaller model, but a 4K timeline, scopes and bins all fit comfortably at a normal viewing distance and the image is large enough for a second person to review over your shoulder. It also quotes a tighter Delta E under 1 factory tolerance. Choose this one for a fixed edit bay; choose the 26.5" if desk space or pixel density matters more.
What it is for, and the burn-in caveat
Dolby Vision, HLG and HDR10 support with per-pixel black makes this a genuine HDR reference-adjacent screen for streaming deliverables, and 3W stereo speakers plus dual Thunderbolt 4 with 96W charging keep the desk tidy. The caveat applies to any OLED used for work: static interface elements sitting in the same pixels for years are what wears the panel, and an NLE has a lot of those. ASUS covers panel burn-in for the full three years. If your workload is mostly static layout rather than moving picture, a mini-LED will age better.

ASUS was early to put QD-OLED into a calibrated production display instead of leaving it in gaming monitors, and the ProArt OSD reflects that intent. Backed by a 3 Year warranty including OLED burn-in.

Questions
Before you buy
What do I need to run it at its full refresh rate?
To reach 240Hz at 3840 x 2160 you need a graphics card able to output that mode, a cable that supports it, and the refresh rate selected in Windows display settings - monitors often default to 60Hz out of the box. The ports on this panel are listed under Specifications above.
What sort of panel is it?
It is QD-OLED with a 0.1ms GtG response time. Panel type is the main thing that decides how a monitor looks off-centre and how it handles colour and contrast, so it is worth weighing against refresh rate rather than choosing on the headline number alone.
Can I wall-mount it or put it on an arm?
This is a 31.5 inch panel. Whether it takes a VESA mount, and at which spacing, is listed under Specifications - if a VESA size is shown there, any arm or bracket rated for that pattern and the monitor’s weight will fit. If you are not sure, send us the model of your arm and we will check.
Is it in stock, and when will it ship?
Yes - this one is in stock. Order before 12:00 on a working day and it ships the same day; after that it goes out the next working day. We are open 09:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday, so an order placed over a weekend or a public holiday ships on the next working day.
What does delivery cost, and how long does it take?
We deliver by courier anywhere in South Africa, and delivery is R180 on orders under R2 500 and free on orders of R2 500 or more. It takes 1-3 working days to Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban and areas within 100km of them, and 2-4 working days to areas more than 100km from a major centre, counted from the day the order is dispatched. Need it sooner? Express delivery is 1-2 working days for R210, or R150 on orders of R2 500 or more - choose it at checkout. We do not ship outside South Africa.
Can I collect instead of having it delivered?
Yes. Collection is from 11 Voortrekker Avenue, Edenvale, Gauteng, by arrangement - message us first so we can have the order picked and waiting. We are open 09:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday.
What warranty does it carry, and how do I claim?
The warranty period for this product is listed at the end of the Specifications section above. Claims go through us, not the manufacturer - contact us with your order number and a description of the fault and we will handle it from there. Separately from any warranty, the Consumer Protection Act gives you six months from delivery to return goods that are defective, unsafe or not fit for their intended purpose.
What if I change my mind?
You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind - longer than the seven days the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act requires. The item needs to be unused and in its original packaging, and we pay the return shipping. Refunds go back to the payment method you used, within 30 days of the return reaching us.
How can I pay?
Payments are processed by Stitch. At the last step of checkout you are taken to Stitch’s secure page to pay, and brought back here once it is done. Your card details are entered on Stitch’s secure, PCI-compliant page and never touch our systems.
