A 4K QD-OLED at 166 PPI that grades in Dolby Vision and still runs at 240Hz when the work is done.
Quick Specs
- 26.5" QD-OLED with anti-reflection surface, 3840 x 2160, 166 PPI
- 240Hz refresh rate, 0.1ms GtG response
- 1,500,000:1 contrast, 1,000 cd/m² HDR peak
- 100% sRGB, 99% DCI-P3, Dolby Vision, HDR10, HLG, DisplayHDR 400 True Black
- 2x Thunderbolt 4 (daisy chain, 96W), DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1 FRL
Per-pixel black on a colour-critical panel
QD-OLED means every pixel makes its own light, so shadow detail sits against true black instead of a lifted grey, and there is no blooming around bright objects the way a zone-dimmed mini-LED shows. At 3840 x 2160 across 26.5 inches you get 166 PPI, dense enough that grading UI and 4K footage both look clean. Dolby Vision, HLG and HDR10 support with DisplayHDR 400 True Black certification covers the delivery formats most streaming work targets. Compared with the larger PA32UCDM, this is the same panel technology and refresh rate in a smaller, lighter, cheaper package.
The honest trade-off on a work machine
OLED burn-in is a real risk when the same toolbar, timecode window or IDE gutter sits in the same pixels eight hours a day, and colour workstations are exactly that kind of static workload. ASUS covers panel burn-in for the full three years, which is the cover you want before spending this much. If the monitor will spend most of its life showing a static NLE interface rather than moving footage, a mini-LED like the PA27UCX-K is the safer long-term buy. Thunderbolt 4 handles video, data and 96W of laptop charging on one cable, and daisy chains to a second display.
