The shortest RX 9070 XT — 290mm with 64 compute units
Quick Specs
- AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT with 4096 stream processors across 64 compute units.
- 16GB GDDR6 memory at 20 Gbps on a 256-bit bus.
- 2400 MHz game clock, up to 2970 MHz boost.
- 290 x 123 x 56 mm, 2.8-slot triple-fan cooler.
- 750W minimum PSU, two 8-pin connectors.
4K in the smallest 9070 XT body
At 290mm this is the most compact RX 9070 XT available — around 40mm shorter than the Taichi and TUF designs — while keeping the full 64-compute-unit GPU and 16GB of GDDR6 on a 256-bit bus. For a mid-tower with a front radiator, that difference decides whether the card goes in at all.
RDNA 4 and conventional power
Third-generation ray accelerators make ray tracing genuinely usable on Radeon for the first time, and the 16GB frame buffer is an advantage over similarly priced 12GB cards once 4K textures are involved. Two conventional 8-pin connectors rather than a 12V-2x6 keeps it compatible with older supplies. Triple-fan cooling with 0dB silent mode and a metal backplate with LED indicator.
FEATURES:
- 290mm — the most compact RX 9070 XT design.

- 16GB GDDR6 on a 256-bit bus for 4K textures.
- 0dB silent cooling and a metal backplate with LED indicator.
- Two conventional 8-pin connectors — no ATX 3.1 requirement.
