Thirty rand more than the V350 for a hundred watts more headroom, which makes it the sensible default in the entry ATOM range.

- 450W output
- Non-modular, fixed cable set
- Standard ATX form factor
- Model: Antec ATOM V450
- 2-year warranty
The extra hundred watts is worth R30
At this end of the range the price gap between capacities is small enough that headroom is nearly free. A 450W supply comfortably runs an office or home build on integrated graphics and leaves enough margin for an entry graphics card, a couple more drives, or a CPU upgrade two years from now without replacing the supply as well. A supply running at 60 percent of its rating also runs cooler and quieter than one pinned near its limit, and it ages better for it.
Still not a gaming supply
Be clear about where the line is. 450W is fine behind a low-profile or 50-class card in an office machine that occasionally plays something. It is the wrong supply for anything in the RTX 5060 Ti bracket and up, and badly wrong for a 5070 or 5080. Cards in that class draw hard transient spikes that a 450W unit was never designed to absorb. If a real GPU is in the plan, start at the ATOM V650 or higher, or move to the CSK Pro line.
