- 3-year warranty
Reading the B against the V
Antec splits the ATOM range into the V tier and the B tier, and at 650W the two overlap on capacity. What separates them here is the cover: three years on the B650 against two on the V650. If the machine is going to a client, a school lab or anywhere an RMA in year three is your problem rather than someone else's, the longer term is the cheaper option in the end. For a personal build you plan to rebuild in two years anyway, the V650 saves you the difference.
What 650W runs comfortably
650W covers the bulk of mainstream desktop gaming: an eight core CPU, a 60-class or entry 70-class graphics card, a pair of NVMe drives and a full set of fans, all with headroom left over. It is not the supply for a 5080 or a 5090, and it has no native 12V-2x6 cable, so a high-draw 50-series card would be running off an adapter. Buy this one for a solid, unglamorous build you want to leave alone for a few years.

- 3-year warranty, a year longer than the ATOM V equivalent
- Standard ATX footprint for conventional mid-tower cases
