Who this is actually for
If you are shopping for a gaming monitor, stop here and look at a ROG panel. This is bought by colourists, broadcast engineers, DITs and post houses who need a screen that takes a camera feed directly over 12G-SDI rather than through a converter, and that can prove its own calibration on a schedule. Twelve factory presets include Rec.709 and DICOM. The 240Hz refresh rate is a property of the panel rather than the selling point; what matters is that per-pixel emission gives you real black in a darkened suite and Dolby Vision, HLG and HDR10 all decode natively.
The colorimeter is the feature
An embedded, motorised colorimeter means self-calibration runs without anyone finding the puck, mounting it, and remembering the workflow. On a display that has to hold a known state across a project, that removes the single most common point of drift. Ambient light and proximity sensors handle the room and panel care. ASUS includes the hood. Practical notes for a South African buyer: budget for a UPS on a suite this expensive, and remember that the three-year warranty does cover OLED panel burn-in, which is the risk any OLED carries under static broadcast overlays and scopes.

Before you buy
What do I need to run it at its full refresh rate?
To reach 240Hz at 3840 x 2160 you need a graphics card able to output that mode, a cable that supports it, and the refresh rate selected in Windows display settings - monitors often default to 60Hz out of the box. The ports on this panel are listed under Specifications above.
What sort of panel is it?
It is QD-OLED with a 0.1ms GtG response time. Panel type is the main thing that decides how a monitor looks off-centre and how it handles colour and contrast, so it is worth weighing against refresh rate rather than choosing on the headline number alone.
Can I wall-mount it or put it on an arm?
This is a 31.5 inch panel. Whether it takes a VESA mount, and at which spacing, is listed under Specifications - if a VESA size is shown there, any arm or bracket rated for that pattern and the monitor’s weight will fit. If you are not sure, send us the model of your arm and we will check.
Is it in stock, and when will it ship?

What does delivery cost, and how long does it take?
We deliver by courier anywhere in South Africa, and delivery is R180 on orders under R2 500 and free on orders of R2 500 or more. It takes 1-3 working days to Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban and areas within 100km of them, and 2-4 working days to areas more than 100km from a major centre, counted from the day the order is dispatched. Need it sooner? Express delivery is 1-2 working days for R210, or R150 on orders of R2 500 or more - choose it at checkout. We do not ship outside South Africa.
Can I collect instead of having it delivered?
Yes. Collection is from 11 Voortrekker Avenue, Edenvale, Gauteng, by arrangement - message us first so we can have the order picked and waiting. We are open 09:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday.
What warranty does it carry, and how do I claim?
The warranty period for this product is listed at the end of the Specifications section above. Claims go through us, not the manufacturer - contact us with your order number and a description of the fault and we will handle it from there. Separately from any warranty, the Consumer Protection Act gives you six months from delivery to return goods that are defective, unsafe or not fit for their intended purpose.
What if I change my mind?
You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind - longer than the seven days the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act requires. The item needs to be unused and in its original packaging, and we pay the return shipping. Refunds go back to the payment method you used, within 30 days of the return reaching us.
