Who this bundle suits

This is a budget build kit: the Elite 302 chassis plus a matching 600W Elite NEX power supply. It makes sense for a mainstream gaming or office PC built around a Micro-ATX board, a six- or eight-core CPU and a mid-range graphics card. Six hundred watts with two PCIe 6+2-pin leads covers most cards in that class, but if you are planning a high-end GPU that wants a 12V-2x6 connector or more than two PCIe plugs, buy the case alone and pick a bigger, modular PSU. Full ATX boards will not fit, so check your motherboard size first.

Cooling, space and trade-offs

The magnetic mesh front panel feeds three pre-installed 120mm ARGB fans, and there is room for up to six fans in total, including 2x 140mm on top. Radiator support runs to 360mm at the front (up to 60mm thick) and 280mm on top, so an AIO upgrade later is straightforward. GPU clearance of 365mm is quoted without front fans or radiator fitted, so allow for those. The PSU is non-modular with a sleeve-bearing fan, which keeps the price down but means more cable tidying behind the 18.5mm routing space. Drive space is limited to one 3.5" and up to two 2.5" drives.
