Built for full-glass ATX gaming builds
The CX705 is a glass-fronted ATX mid-tower for builders who want their components on display from the moment the system is switched on. The front and side are 4mm tempered glass wrapping 270° around the build, and five 120mm PWM ARGB fans are already fitted, so most builds need no extra fan purchase. Airflow runs vertically: cool air comes in through the bottom mesh and the side fans, and heat leaves through the top and rear. It suits gamers running full-size graphics cards, with room for cards up to 430mm and air coolers up to 175mm.
Know the layout before you plan
Because the front is glass rather than mesh, radiators mount in the top (up to 360mm) or as a 120mm unit at the rear, so front-mounted AIO plans will not work here. Four of the five fans are reverse-blade units placed on the PSU shroud and the right side, where their clean face points towards the glass; they are intended for those positions rather than for moving elsewhere. Storage is modest at two 3.5″ bays and one 2.5″ bay, so builders with several hard drives should look elsewhere. If you prefer a quiet, solid-panel case, this is not the one.

Before you buy
Will my graphics card fit in this case?
It takes cards up to 430mm long. Every graphics card we list shows its length on the Specifications tab, so compare the two numbers and leave a few millimetres for the power connectors. Front-mounted radiators and fans usually eat into that clearance - the case manual will say by how much.
What CPU cooler will fit?
Air coolers up to 175mm tall, and liquid cooler radiators of 120mm, 240mm, 360mmmm. Cooler height is measured from the motherboard surface to the top of the heatsink, and it is the dimension that most often catches people out with a side panel that will not close.
Which motherboards does it take?
It accepts ATX, Micro-ATX, Mini-ITX boards. A case always takes its own size and anything smaller, so there is no harm in fitting a compact board in a larger case beyond a little wasted space.
Is it in stock, and when will it ship?

What does delivery cost, and how long does it take?

It takes 1-3 working days to Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban and areas within 100km of them, and 2-4 working days to areas more than 100km from a major centre, counted from the day the order is dispatched. Need it sooner? Express delivery is 1-2 working days for R210, or R150 on orders of R2 500 or more - choose it at checkout. We do not ship outside South Africa.
Can I collect instead of having it delivered?
Yes. Collection is from 11 Voortrekker Avenue, Edenvale, Gauteng, by arrangement - message us first so we can have the order picked and waiting. We are open 09:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday.
What warranty does it carry, and how do I claim?
The warranty period for this product is listed at the end of the Specifications section above. Claims go through us, not the manufacturer - contact us with your order number and a description of the fault and we will handle it from there. Separately from any warranty, the Consumer Protection Act gives you six months from delivery to return goods that are defective, unsafe or not fit for their intended purpose.
What if I change my mind?
You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind - longer than the seven days the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act requires. The item needs to be unused and in its original packaging, and we pay the return shipping. Refunds go back to the payment method you used, within 30 days of the return reaching us.
